India may be Noor-Jahan  for the Developing World at COP -21 at Paris.US secretary of State Jon Kerry ,ahead of the Climate Meet, has asserted that India  will be a challenge, but The country has already made it clear that it would be a facilitator rather than be a  blocker during the crucial climate meet negotiations  aimed at saving planet Earth by joint and concerted attempts  by  every one. As the name signifies- Noor( Light) Jahan ( world) , India well prepared with documentation and  arguments for climate justice will be throwing light on crucial inputs for the International agreement to be inked during the summit which opened on November 30  with addresses of Nations’ heads . Advanced and developed countries who are responsible for global warming must take major share in cut of emissions besides giving funds to others to curtail GHGs is the line of climate justice by India in the meet. In Three minutes crisp articulations o...

Law makers debate Intolerance; Wick of true love wavering ?

As per the Holy book Bhagwad Gita-- Lord Krishna during the epic war Mahabharata told warrior Arjuna that the society follows great men .In The third chapter of Gita a sholaka (21) in Sanskrit  narrates -“ YadyaCharit, Shrestrastat devatoro Jana:Sa yatyapraman  Kurte Lokastanuvardate” (Whatever Greatmen do,common people start following same path).  The Great discourse is relevant for last  thousands of years . Iconic personalities’ assertions  are not taken lightly, so Rulers, instead of taking words as an offensive, should take cognizance of concerns to pave way for prompt and effective address of issues. If they do not take effective steps ,elements ,spreading canard against each other, will be encouraged to continue their campaign at a heavy cost and collateral damage. At same time, Contemporary great men should also be cautious enough while making the statements which may fuel apprehensions in minds of common man of their community and castes, and th...

Corrugated Political Turf : Parties tip toeing amid growing cacophony of Intolerance

In the world's most populous democracy India ,political turf is getting corrugated with every passing election -may it be for the lower house of Parliament ,State assemblies, Local bodies and any other elected body. The situation has driven politicians to tip toe on the political space as even  minor slippage,on any index which determines electorate mood, quickly mar prospects at hustings.    The 2014 general election paved way for ascendency of Narendra Modi to the coveted slot, but elements whipping up frenzies on communal and religion lines and ever shooting prices of eatables have played havoc unleashing plethora of problems .the price paid by the ruling coalition is colossal. It's credibility is at stake and opponents got ammunition to beat the ruling dispensation at the poll booths. The centre should have been forthright and assertive to tackle .     The cost was heavy in form of its resounding defeat in Bihar. Mr Nitish on whom lot of hopes...

Nitish Kumar on Tight Rope; Grand Alliance aspirations loom for the National Poll Ring

Hullabaloo of  Resounding Victory and Resounding defeat in the Crucial Bihar polls has subsided ,but the verdict has burdened The JU(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with a twin responsibility of running the show better than his previous three straight stints and keeping the Grand Alliance fledgling aspirations and credibility  intact. Opposition camps’  strategies to replicate its Mahagathbandhans in other poll bound states will mainly depend on the JD(U)-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress governance in the cow belt state which has empowered them to rule it with full might but in a judicious way. Now, one side verdict era is dawning fast- General Elections,Delhi polls and Bihar results –are pointer to that. Formation of Ministry and anointment of RJD supremo sons in the coveted slots along with many ,with limited educational background in the cabinet, has raised many eyebrows virtually suggesting that RJD would have wasp like grip on the gov...

OOTA AAYTHAA SYNDROME IN KARNATAKA MULTIPLIES FELICITY ;HOPES WAX FOR FILTER COFFEE

Bengaluru is about 2000 kms away from Kolkata ,and Most of the places in West Bengal are about 1500 Kms away from Lucknow, nerve center of Hindi heartland in Sprawling and populous State of Uttar Pradesh which has boundaries common with many pure Hindi speaking states.  Daily usage of words in Kannada ,Bengali and Hindi are strikingly similar and pronunciation makes a pronounced difference . A crash course on these words gave me the wisdom which was scripted by an eminent journalist Surya Prakash on a booklet gifted to guests by him on occasion of his son Ujjawal’s marriage with Kayleigh in city of gardens recently.Alas ! Now, it is turning into the city of Terrific traffic jams like those witnessed in Bangkok in early eighties and nineties. . In a paragon of crisp advisory on daily etiquettes in Karnataka, the handy booklet gives an insight in state’s inside life besides throwing lig...
