By Neeraj Bajpai  More than 4.99 million  coronavirus cases, including 328,115 deaths, have been recorded globally this morning with Brazil reporting 1,179 deaths in the last 24 hours and India cases surge past 1.12 lakh. There is still a long way to go in battling the pandemic, according to director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus Tedros. “It assigns responsibilities for both the  WHO  [World Health Organization] and its member States, and captures the comprehensive whole of government and whole of society approach we have been calling for since the beginning of the outbreak”, he said.
