A massive political rally –“BJP Bhagao- Desh Bachao”in Patna on Sunday may be dismissed by skeptics as a routine jamboree of political outfits longing to usurp power at the center in 2019 General elections, But the turn out speaks volumes of RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s proficiency in holding such shows despite an avalanche of odds against him and his family, and in many ways the rally can turn out to be a bellwether development in political corridors. One hundred one years ago When Mahatma Gandhi returned from South Africa ,He had not seen a spinning wheel,Charkha,but his strong penchant for Khadi made tidal waves during the Swadeshi movement,But now again the wheel has taken full circle ---Khadi cult is picking momentum afresh.  Millions of people passing through Rajiv Chowk rivet their eyes to a huge charkha which was  unveiled there this Sunday. The 2.5-tonne large steel charkha is made of high-quality chromium nickel stainless steel and is corrosion resistant, non-magnetic and not hardenable by heat. The order to make this 12 feet tall and 25 feet long spinning wheel was given to Prayog Samiti, KVIC unit, near Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat.
