Slew of Initiatives are on cards for healthcare in India: Nitin Gadkari; Modern Pulmonary Unit Opened in NCR’s Super specialty Yashoda Hospital

For Doctors, sporting spotless white aprons and similarly for their paramedical and other supporting staff, it was an absorbing evening with a difference last week: They were waiting with bated breath for not any patient, but opening of the most modern pulmonary and respiratory wing in their super specialty hospital by the country’s high profile law maker Nitin Jairam Gadakri.   As wait was kissing patience limits, they threw themselves into a celebratory mold, and latent talents of public speaking, singing songs, cracking jokes came to the fore, apparently for the first time in the super specialty Yashoda hospital Kaushambhi on borders of the national capital and Ghaziabad. Some sang, some gave narratives of their pet spheres and some chose to remain glued to seats relishing hard earned but rare relaxed moments. By the time Gadakri  arrived it was very late in the evening but enthusiasm was still palpable.  Ironically, The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways

It was another day, but it was different in more ways than one. It was the day to remember Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, renowned social reformer ,on his 126th Birthday Anniversary.  I woke up early in the morning and after routine practice of meditation, I landed myself in a free medical camp organized on the occasion by  Yashoda  super specialty hospital in its campus at Kaushambi on borders of the national capital and Ghaziabad. A large number of people were milling around in the camp which had opened its flood gates for free medical checkup, surgeries , tests, MRI, stents fixation, orthopedic, Surgeries, etc.   Wondering who will finance such huge bills, I groped for answers, but owner and managing director of the super specialty hospital Dr PN Arora avoided the answer and simply said sincere intentions were paving way for the task. He tried to impart personal touch to maximum number of people jostling with each other to get themselves registered for checkups. Surpris

It is a tale of two news makers, sitting exactly 715 KMs away from each other. If one is saffron clothes clad Yogi in the erstwhile city of Nawabs, the other is wheel chair strapped whistle blower in the architectural marvel City of Chandigarh planned by French architect Le Corbusier. Both of them are being pilloried by different sets of people. One has allegedly robbed many off the luxury of guzzling liquor on the sideways of national and state highways, and other clamped ban on abundant meat supplies from illegal abattoirs. Neither of the two nurse any qualms for their actions and justify what they described as well intended initiatives. Come what may be the consequences. The New normal is latest narrative of the twin developments which have stirred hornet’s nests across the nation, acclaimed globally for diverse life styles and culture. ( Harman Sidhu ,Road safety activist)  The famous two are :Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath whose crac
