   A brain storming meet with focus on Higher Education’s quality, relevance and Development in North East regions was held in Imphal recently and many issues impacting the education set up there were highlighted while the association of Indian Universities (AIU) laid stress on maintenance of peace and harmony in corridors of universities to pave way for healthy environs for higher education. A two day international meet on innovations in the medical care arena was held in the National capital this week, opening new vistas in diagnostic discipline, backbone of holistic and quick treatment.  Experts and companies held brainstorming sessions discussing threadbare needs of patients in India where rural swathes still pine for healthcare at an affordable cost. Experts say although Rural India accounts for about 70 per cent of the population, it has less than one third of the country’s hospitals, doctors, beds etc.           The meet -“InnoHEALTH 2017” was organized on September 18 and 19 2017.
